After that part, I started this blog. It felt right. I knew that I wanted eventually to be able to travel through this way, but I had no immediate expectations. I’ve travelled in 23 countries before starting the travel blog, but when I did, I also took a trip with my friends in Bali and Singapore. That holiday was two weeks long and it just opened my appetite for blogging and travel photography.
This happened in September 2014. Now, in October 2015 I am back in Bali and I’m here to stay for at least one month. Why? Because this past year, life has been wonderful, in just 13 months I’ve travelled in 5 exotic destinations, I’ve spent one month in an amazing place in The Bahamas where I also got my Yoga Instructor certification and I became a certified photographer.
I chose to come back here because, this time, I want to be able to feel that true Bali vibe, the dreamers life, the one who comes here from the desire to find something authentic, spiritual, and maybe an opportunity for an ideal life. And the best part is, that I get to share this with my mother. I am blessed that we share the same ideals.
Don’t get me wrong, I just bought the plane ticket with the return date at the end on next month, and the first 4 nights of accommodation. What’s next? I don’t really know. . . I will meet beautiful people, I will explore and photograph amazing locations I will teach and take classes of yoga, and I will especially, let everything flow. I don’t want to sound like a cliche but from my point of view, it’s an Eat Pray Love travelling experience 😛
I’m usually extra organised, I know every step, every activity weeks before a trip. But this time it’s something different, it’s not a holiday, it’s a trial of an ideal.
Maybe I won’t even go back home at the end of this month, who knows?! I would love to become a Bali expat 🙂
