In cele sase luni petrecute in Insula Zeilor, Bali, am invatat atat de multe despre mine cat si despre energia locului.

A Vision in Paradise – Bambu Indah Bali

Dreamers, visionaries, artists, idealists, and very ambitious people are choosing this magical island, Bali, to become their home or their creative playground. One of these examples are John and Cynthia Hardy, a couple that has moved to Bali back in 1975. Since then, they have materialised numerous dreams and visions that opened new horizons in areas like: jewellery design, hospitality, sustainability and education.Starting with Jewellery design, being mindful of the local culture and lifestyle, they continued to expand and to create projects that are helping people to live in a more responsible way regarding the environment, but also the other ones around.Their latest project is Green School, a place where local and foreign children, are developing, in a new paradigm of learning. This new approach is educating them to become spiritually aware and to be conscious about the amazing possibilities in life. In other words, they are encouraging them to become...

Window Shopping in Ubud

As you may know, Ubud is heaven for the modern yogi.   Multiple yoga studios and sanctuaries, a looooot of vegan and healthy restaurants, art and numerous “spiritual clothing stores”, as I like to call them. Here, they are selling as a souvenir yoga mats and yoga mat bags :) You know how Harry Potter used to have that small town where he was buying all of his magic necessities? Well, here, you feel the same as a yogi, or as a free spirit :P Let me take you on a stroll around Ubud and to show you the windows that got my attention and triggered my shopping rage. But, I practice what I preach, so I remained calm and I did not let these crazy emotions overwhelm me :) But I thought I should show you how different this place is, from whatever we are used to . Let's start with the market. Before 08:am in the same place is a food market, mostly for locals. But after the early morning hours, the whole place transforms into a touristic open air mall :P[caption...

How my holiday in Bali transformed into a stay

Because dreams do come true And how not to freak out when they do come true?!Remember when I told you about one month ago, that I have just arrived in Bali with no plans whatsoever? Just with a return ticket after 30 days? In fact I had the intention to find a way to stay but it was more of a dream, without any idea of how I would make that happen. If you have followed my path in the last year, you know that my dream is to live in an exotic place where I would progress as a human and spiritual being, and where I would also help others on this path, through yoga. I feel like, at least for the moment, this is what I am supposed to do. And almost a year ago, I gave up my business and all of my other activities and focused my energy in realising the dream. How? Through this blog and through a spiritual and mental practice. Now, I am writing this article from my room in Ubud, in a small and peaceful resort that is built in the backyard of the famous Ketut Liyer, from the...

Templul Tirta Empul a fost contruit in anul 962 dHr, in aproprierea unui rau cu apa sfanta.

10 useful things to know about Bali

For me and many others, Bali is Heaven on Earth, for some it's only an exotic destination without white sand beaches and turquoise water.Whether you will fall in love with this place or not, I have some practical things that will help you in this trip.  1. Traffic !! All main roads are very busy Before arriving in Bali, I made an itinerary with 2-3 attractions for almost each day, so we could see everything that I thought was worth seeing. We hired a driver for each day prior our arrival, I pinned all the attractions on Google Maps and only after all that I was ready to leave home and feel at ease ( maybe I am a bit of a  control freak). After the first 30 minutes in Bali, I realised that all my plans were ruined. Our first road, from the Denpasar Airport, to the villa in Seseh, which is 25 kilometers away, took us two hours. With a local driver. Well, that's pretty much how traffic goes in Bali, especially in the Central- South area. I had to reorganize...

10 lucruri folositoare de stiut daca pleci in Bali

A durat ceva sa scriu acest articol. Am fost in BAli in Septembrie si am petrecut doua saptamani vizitand cat am putut de mult din acel frumos loc.

Bali # 6, Elephant Safari & Ubud
